Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Kennon Road, Baguio, Luzon Philippines

The Kennon Road View Deck has the most wonderful view of Baguio City’s mountainous slope. We’ll see here a perfect color blend of the mountain’s misty dark brown soil, lush green pine trees and luminescent pineapple farm. I bet this great view is the reason why a view deck was put up there despite its awkward position in the middle of the road. This is a common second-stop of tourists who are coming from the southern part of Baguio.

Stop At: Philippine Military Academy, Loakan Road Fort Gregorio del Pilar, Baguio, Luzon Philippines

The Philippine Military Academy began on October 25, 1898 with the establishment of the Academia Militar in Malolos, Bulacan by virtue of a decree issued by the first president of the young Philippine Republic, General Emilio Aguinaldo. Graduates were awarded regular commission in the armed forces. Its existence was short-lived, barely four months old, up to 20 January 1899, when hostilities between the Americans and Filipinos erupted.

While the Philippines was under American colonial rule, an officer’s school of the Philippine Constabulary was established at the Walled City of Intramuros in Manila on February 17, 1905. It relocated three years later to Baguio City, initially at Camp Henry T. Allen, and subsequently at Teacher’s Camp.

Stop At: Easter Weaving Room, Inc, 2 2600 Easter Rd, Guisad, Baguio, Benguet, Philippines

Easter Weaving Room was established in 1909, making it as old as Baguio City itself, which celebrated its 100th Anniversary on September 1, 2009.

It was under the direction of Deaconess Anne Hargreaves that Easter School opened its doors to women with the idea of having the young women of the Cordilleras learn weaving so that they, too, may earn a living.

Since then the classes continued under various headmasters and headmistresses, making it an important and integral part of one of the oldest educational institutions in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. World War II saw the destruction of the looms and other equipment and the weaving room was re-established in 1948 with the help of some women who had worked at there before the war.

Stop At: Tam-Awan Village, 366-C Tacay Rd. Pinsao Proper, Baguio, Luzon 2600 Philippines

Tam-awan Village in Pinsao Proper, Baguio City uniquely blends indigenous aesthetics and exquisite Cordilleran craftsmanship with an artist’s concept for a village adapting to Baguio setting.
Chanum Foundation, Inc., founded in 1998, began to reconstruct Ifugao houses in Baguio with the view of making a model village accessible to people who have not had the chance to travel to the Cordillera interior. On a land near an abundant spring, the foundation started out with three knocked-down huts transported from Bangaan, Ifugao. Tam-awan village now has seven Ifugao huts and two Kalinga houses. Using the original materials and adding only new cogon roofs, traditional artisans reconstructed the houses and laid them out resembling the design of a traditional Cordillera Village
